Email · Forwarding
Forward your email to another address.
Email forwarding sends a copy of every incoming message in your inbox to a second email address. It is a useful safety net when you are away for an extended period and want a colleague to keep an eye on your account.
Forwarding stays active until you switch it off, so remember to delete the rule when you are back. It also pairs well with an auto-responder for proper out-of-office cover.

How it works
The basics
Your original inbox still receives the email. Forwarding makes a copy of every incoming message and sends it to the second address you nominate.
Anything the second person does with the forwarded copy does not affect your original inbox. So if they reply or delete the forwarded message, your own copy is untouched.
